Many of you have seen this amazing artifact while farming and totally make you change to another world because of its awesome grind capacities, we are glad to announce that those days are finally over!
I’m going to teach you how to get your own cannon so you can level/farm as fast as Zezima (ok, no lol). The dwarf cannon gives a really big boost to the player and guess what…It doesn’t have any requirement at all! YEAH (only a little amount of gp, you can get it from chaos druids)
Alright The Dwarf cannon quest, one of the easiest quests in whole Runescape World besides it is really short, for this adventure I recommend to bring:
Any kind of food
Amulet of glory to teleport to edgeville monastery
Camelot/Ardougne Teleport or a game necklace to teleport to Barbarian Assault arena
Skills Necklace to teleport to Fishing guild
If you don’t have any of this don’t worry, get some extra stamina potions because you are going to run a lot!
So apparently for several years now, the Dwarves Black Guard has been developing the latest in projectile warfare.
With the constant attack of goblin renegades, the dwarf’s troops who protect the mines need to put this secret weapon into action.
Only with your help the true power of these cannon can be harnessed.
To start the quest, you need to talk to Captain Lawgof. He can be found north-west of the Fishing Guild, near the Coal truck mining site. You can utilize the skills necklace to fishing guild, and then walk north-west to Lawgof.
Captain Lawgof welcomes you and asks if you want to become an honorary member of the Black Guard, apparently the finest dwarves regiment which can only be joined by the best of the best. When you accept, he explains that he lost contact with the south watchtower, making his base weak to any enemy advances. Just soon after this happened, goblins attacked, demolishing the defenses in the process.
Lawgof wants you to repair the rails so that the base remains strong. Agree to help him, and he will give you six replacement railings to use.
Repairing the rails
The damaged railings around the complex are clearly bent, repair these by "inspecting" the appropriate sections of railing. If you fail to repair a rail, you may take 1 or 2 damage or your Strength or Crafting will be temporarily reduced.
Fix the six broken railings and return to Captain Lawgof. He now wants you to send a message to the watchtower, to the dwarf-in-charge Gilob, saying that reinforcements will be sent as soon as the remaining goblins are defeated. Make sure you complete the conversation with Lawgof.
Getting the remains
Head south to the watchtower just south of the gate near the dwarf commander, and investigate.
The ladder on a wide mound, surrounded by several wooden beams; this is the watchtower. Go up two ladders to the top and you'll find some dwarf remains in the corner. Pick them up and head back to Lawgof and speak to him. The remains will not appear if you did not finish talking to Lawgof.
Devastated, Captain Lawgof will tell you that the dwarf who had been killed when the watchtower was overrun was Gilob who had a son named Lollk that is still missing.
As the goblins keep coming from the south-east, Lawgof suggests you start there. Walk south-east, or use the skills necklace to fishing guild, to reach a cave entrance next to the east wall.
The cave forks into three passages. Take the center passage and head northwest to find the goblin outpost. Go further northwest to a room filled with crates inside. Search the northern most crates on the east wall and Lollk will jump out. After thanking you for rescuing him, Lollk will run back to the dwarf commander.
Return to Lawgof, who says that some goblins managed to slip past into the base and sabotaged the cannon bla blab la. As he doesn’t have any mechanic, he asks you to repair it for him.
Use the toolkit that he hands you, on the nearby cannon. You will need to match up three tools with the three mechanism parts to make it work. These must be done in order:
Use the hooked tool (right) on the spring.
Use the pliers (middle) on the safety switch at the bottom.
Use the tooth tool (left) on the gear located at the bottom of the hammer
After that talk to Captain Lawgof again, and he will tell you that he doesn't know how to get ammo for the cannon. Now you will need to go to the dwarf base south of Ice Mountain above the entrance to the Dwarves Mine to find out about the ammo.
Go to the dwarf base which is located directly south of the Black Knights' Fortress, north of Falador, and west of the Edgeville Monastery. The fastest way to arrive there is using a combat bracelet to teleport to the monastery. Alternatively you can teleport to Falador and walk there. Talk to Nulodion who is in the western building of the base. He will give you an ammo mould and some instructions.
Go back and talk to Captain Lawgof. He will reward you for your efforts.
